| Corporate Technical Oversight, Guidance, & Development responsibility for Technical Services and Process Development within a textile commission coating and finishing company focusing in engineered speciality finished fabrics. Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and self-direction initiatives, as well as demonstrating strong chemical background with knowledge of woven & non-woven finishing applications to impart properties such as repellency, absorbency, back coating, face coating, immersions, fire retardancy, heat resistance, UV resistance, lamination, hand, anti-microbial and bacterial, anti-crocking, drying, shrinking, decating, heat-setting, and other specialty chemical applications; as well as mechanical finishing processes. Prior Bench chemistry work is important for formulation development leadership. Position includes Vendor interface & price negotiations; trial priorities & samplings; and client visitations for process engineering & resolution. Manages technical staff in 2 locations, but home based in North Carolina. Reports to Corporate VP. This position is not receptive to VISA sponsorship.
